MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - West Virginia University Hospitals-East will host a health expo on Saturday, April 14 from 8 until 11 a.m. in the McCormack Center on the City Hospital campus.
The annual health expo, which is normally held in May, has been moved to April this year to coincide with the annual Martinsburg Noon Rotary health fair. The expo will feature free screenings, health and nutritional information, WVUH-East trauma services and cancer program information, WVUH-East home health services and Wellness Center information.
According to event coordinator Jesi Graham, free screenings will include blood pressure checks and physical therapy screenings. Complimentary chair massages will also be available throughout the morning.
“We are holding our annual health fair on the City Hospital campus again this year,” said Graham. “We encourage everyone to bring the family, take advantage of the free screenings and collect valuable information on a variety of health topics.”
The 2012 Health Expo is being offered free to the public as a community service of WVUH-East. For more information, contact The Wellness Center at 304.264.1232.
